You should use a vectorial system for your  drawings, (inkscape or illudtrator) for a better traced and degraded,



Then, export your image in PNG on photoshop to use the filters and make the shades and stains .

Wow DV ! Your art is remarkable ! You've captured Doriru perfect ! I like the added face on the side of his head blade. He looks like a fast, close combat expert..just they way I pictured him. Thank You very much  

I'll have to read up on how to use a vectorial system. I have very little time for my art unfortunately. with working full time and raising 3 kids on my own but I'll look into the inkscape or illudtrator programs.

Right now I'm just learning how to color on photoshop. I just draw them up free-hand and put them into my scanner and color on photoshop.

Thank you Lucifer ( I like this nickname ), I use the dynamic posture of Revoltech figures for your mechanical monsters.
The added face on the side of his head blade does more Mykenian style (Mazinger ) but you can imagine a other face on the other side.

I advise you Inkscape, it is a freeware and it is easier than Illustrator…
And ( with a little training) it's much faster than a traditional drawing (sketched, inked, scanned) with immediate made clean .(I have three children too)

I having looking at your work here with your robot designs and I'm a fan.

It has been a busy day for me. I have downloaded that free Inkscape program. I can't wait to learn how to use it.

I'm working on a flying saucer Super Robot like Grendizer. I have him sketched but need to ink and photoshop him. I also have an idea for a female super robot and one that's main weapon is a jackhammer.

My mind is on Super Robot over load and it helps to put my ideas out on paper.
