My son age 7 drew me up a picture of Akuma Robotto. So proud of him. I hope you don't mind me posting this.

DV you are amazing ! I love what you did to her eyes...more Egyptian. I tried to draw them at first like that (eyes of Horus/RA) but no matter what I did it didn't look right to me. Yours are perfect and blends with the face.
I'm liking the energy sphere that she's creating with the palm of her hand. I never would have that about that.
I like how you extended the back of the head dress to it looks more like long hair. Bravo. I too should have done the same. I lack the details.
To me what your doing to my drawings is like seeing The Missing Link Mecha between Mazinger-Z and say Robotech. These are what comes between on a Evolutionary scale.
You influence me.
Thank you also Tiger and DaisukieSan. You both are very kind.

The energy shere is a Chidori ( easy to make on Photoshop )

I like the bootleg Mazinger style of the Samson 7, I maked him a real classic karaté posture ( Sensei Enoeda, Mawashi Geri )

Holey Moley ! U.F.O Samson-7 is so Awesome! Excellent work on that DV ! Haha and yes he's my version of a bootleg Mazinger. Some Brave Raideen, and Grendizer in his mix too. I went with the coloring of the Korean Animation movie Protectors of Universe. The Super Robot in that anime is called Mazinger-7.
Love The Karate Kick stance DV. Your poses are Dynamic!
Falling Behind here on my art. Trying to draw a Robot a day to improve my drawings and take me away from reality for a minute. Been a busy past two days here but here is a quick drawing of a Mechanical Beast I drew up this morning.
Calling him: Big Hōshu
I have tomorrow off. I am thinking of drawing something up more animal like. Wish me luck

Incredible DV ! You can work magic with such a simple cartoon. You have the abilities to make mole hills into mountains.
Yesterday I had my doubts about his design. Today I love it.
Thank You DV
So today I bring to you Mechanical Beast: Razorback

For me; each new drawing is a challenge, I each time test new filters and effects, The first drawings which I posted for Ryujin project were not famous,

I made some minor modifications, but I liked the vintage Bullmark style of this last.

Superb and original design old school, I will draw it especially to make an animation GIF.

I enjoy your art in the Ryujin project. It too has influenced me greatly with my drawings.
Here is one of my favorite robots from you.
I would of liked for you too do something more with it. I think the big magnet gives him character. Maybe if you didn't like the magnet a tuning fork would have been like. Sound can be very powerful. To me he looked battle worthy and a veteran of many robots wars.
I'm glad you like Razorback. I have been thinking about him for two days now. Even while I was drawing up Big Hoshu. Nothing in my head right now as far as a mechanical beast goes. I have been thinking of a Super Robot that defends the city I grew up in. Crime there has hit all time highs.
Maybe when the Automotive companies moved out of the factory there the worker took it a upon them selves to make a super robot to protect the city.

Thank you, I had forgotten this one...Make it in colors if you want.( Why not use Inkscape ? )
Forget the tuning fork it is too ridiculous on a armour, however a sound weapon is a good idea.
I prefer the magnet system...from ACME corporation. (I had not thought of this by drawing it)

Very funny. Yes ACME would be perfect
I have downloaded Inkscape and need to start learning how to use it. Just hard being a single father raising 3 children by myself and working full time. Trying to find a way to do it.
Today I drew up the robot defender of Flint, Michigan. I call him Ishkoday Ahsin. It means Flint/Fire Rock in the native american Ojibwe language.
I was thinking he fires Flaming energy Arrows from his arms.

Well, an American native robot, which crazy idea. But for respect for the honor and glory of Shogun Warriors and Mohican nation I removed the lipstick and mascara for real Mohican war paintings and I gave him an authentic tomahawk:

Dv I love him. I do like what you did with his face. I used a design like this one.
Yes I like the idea of a Native American Shogun Warrior. I think it works perfect. I could see Ishkoday Ahsin moving quietly stalking another Robot in between city building and all.
The Tomahawk and snazzy paint job are very cool DV ! Maybe one day I'll draw up a Thunderbird Jet Scrambler for him.
Just found the Indian mask pic I used:
What was I thinking. Crazy ! I hope all is forgiven for my warrior paint. Again...I'm not the greatest artist by any means, just have a few ideas for Robots. You are amazing DV how your transform them into wonderful art.
Somedays I have more time than others to sit down and put designs on paper. Life seems to try and rush me.

Don't worry , it was a ( easy ) joke.I could not resist But Amerindian art is rather hard to retranscribe in mécha; It's simpler to take a tribal costume as starting point .
Test:

Sweet Character sheet DV! Very Nice ! Here is a link to the FREE quick start rules to the game my friends and myself are planning on playing so you can better understand the rules. Seems my buddies have lost pretty much all there interest in playing it now. They would rather table top rpg Super heroes or in a fantasy setting. Not sure what I'm gonna do now. Lol..I was really excited to play this game.
That Logo you have on the Akuma Robotto character sheet isn't mine. Just put it on the sheet cause I thought it would look cool. I need to make my own Team logo. On the To-Do-List
Been working on a new Mechanical Beast off and on today. Trying to nail down a design that I like. I should have it posted (I hope) tomorrow late afternoon.
Speaking of The Mecha Game. Here are some Robot Character sheet updates:
I wish I new more about Card games and how to make them. I could see these Warrior-Bots in a game of some sorts.

I prefer than you make your own logo, this one is a mix of Africaners swatiska with the gears of the Nazi flag for industrial workers. Not really original and rather sinister for super robot heroes... We can find better.
Draw it, and I help you to do them on Inskcape.

That is nice of you DV. Thanks again and for everything else. No I don't want anything that looks like a swatiska. Not even for the Mechanical Beast Galactic Gastapo team. Perhaps I'll do some research on Power symbols and how they have been used through out history. Seems like a good start. I like things to have connections and meaning.
